More about Jeremy

Hi, I’m Jeremy, a Year 11 student and co-chair of the Disarmament and International Security Council. My involvement with MUN was sparked by an off the whim application to a conference security council in Year 9 - as an exploration of my growing interest in geopolitics and the history of foreign relations. I have gone on to attend further conferences and currently serve as a committee member. I enjoy MUN not only in an academic sense, but for the community and friendships built around impassioned debate and belief in the principles of internationalism and and the defence our elemental human rights. I would love for first timers and old hands to leave WESMUN having been reminded of the importance of diplomacy in crafting of our common future, for better or worse. Outside of MUN and history, I have keen interest in all things tech and sports, a natural combination for an avid Formula 1 fan - an invitation to any other fans during committee breaks. Presently, I am un-decided on A-levels, let alone universities, and am enjoying my academic freedom as deadlines loom ever closer. Any advice would be appreciated. All the best to everyone at WESMUN.
