More about Jai

Hello! I’m Jai and I am an MUN committee member at Westminster. I started MUN in Year 9, and I have really enjoyed the opportunity to debate global issues constructively from the perspective of various countries at conferences. I believe MUN gives us the opportunity to understand the world from all sorts of angles that we otherwise might not consider, and brings to light social, economic and political issues. Most importantly, however, I think that the chance to meet new people in these discussions is what makes MUN so much fun, and I hope that this will be true at WESMUN! Outside of MUN, you will probably find me playing cricket, or perhaps some other game involving a bat and ball. I am hoping to study history at university, and I think that there is a strong connection between events of the past and those of the present which we debate in MUN. I look forward to seeing everyone at WESMUN soon!
