More about Valerie

Hello, I'm Valerie - a Y13 and Deputy Secretary-General of MUN at Westminster. I first started MUN in Hong Kong in 2019, and my 6-year MUN journey has brought me into the tight-knit community of MUNers, many of whom I now call friends. Having had the privilege to delegate, chair, and organise local and international conferences, MUN has widened my horizons as both a speaker and mentor, and the critical thinking skills I cultivate through discussing various international affairs will hopefully benefit me as I read law at university. Outside of MUN, I am probably debating. But when I'm not in the middle of giving speeches, you might find me napping, consuming matcha, and napping a bit more. Finally, whether you are just starting MUN or already a veteran, I hope WESMUN will be a fulfilling and enriching experience for all of you. Looking forward to seeing you all!
